    In the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume, among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

    We, the People of this great nation reaffirm our God-given rights and recognition that all men are created equally and are endowed by their God with certain unalienable rights in the spirit of our forefathers who, in 1776, boldly proclaimed our rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Yet, in the face of a government that has gradually encroached upon these sacred rights, we find it necessary to reaffirm these principles.

    Let it therefore be this day that we, as one people, proclaim our disdain for this government and indict this government as constitutionally illegitimate while pledging our full resistance and non-compliance.

    Our right to resistance is rooted in the fundamental principle that governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed. We assert that the government’s actions, over time, have violated the spirit of the original Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. The repeated erosion of our rights, justified under the guise of peace and security, constitutes a betrayal of the principles upon which this nation was founded.

    The overreach, as exemplified by various versions of the Patriot Act and other legislation, has undermined the very essence of our constitutional protections. The government’s actions, aimed at warrantless monitoring, unwarranted gun control, and intrusion into personal matters without writ or warrant, demonstrate a departure from the limited government envisioned by our Founding Fathers.

    We, therefore, indict the current government for treason against the People. This indictment is based on a systematic and deliberate erosion of our unalienable rights, the very rights for which our forefathers fought and sacrificed. The betrayal lies in the government’s calculated attempts to concentrate power, sacrificing individual liberties for the illusion of security.

    We accuse the government of subverting the principles of democracy by engaging in actions that undermine the Constitution and the principles enshrined in the Declaration of Independence. The confiscation of firearms, interference in matters of personal autonomy, and the disregard for privacy all contribute to a pattern of behavior that is antithetical to the ideals upon which this nation was founded.

    In seeking our independence and sovereignty from this government, we hope to reestablish a government that truly represents the will and interests of the People, one that upholds the values of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all citizens, regardless of race or creed, ethnic background or ethno-historical dispositions.
